have i said or implied that there will be no more krewses?. no i haven't.
therefore there will be future krewses if the people want to take part.

It seems to me that this whole subject has now been thoroughly blown out of proportion.
yes, unfortunately i let people down on 2 occasions this season, due to circumstances beyond my control. unfortunate yes but unintentional.
but to inject a bit of reality into this subject, i've been doing these runs to away games on aand off since the 1990/91 season, even if they weren't known as krewses in those days.
they were the days of cramming folk into cars/vans/campers or whatever i had at the time.
which is why i found it hard to understand why shelley of all people chose to bitch at me on this thread, when she herself was "krewsing" for many years when we travelled to newcastle, blackburn,altrincham, hull and the like over the years.we even went to eindhoven , holland on a day G B trip to see paddy scott play for the national team.
she will also recall the time 20 of us crammed into a van and i drove up to kirkaldy (fife flyers) and back again in a day and that also included an hour or so in the bar before leaving.

so the krewses will continue and i stand by my record of reliability over 18 years and only 2 letdowns in all of that time.

so saying that Andy and to answer your question, this section of the forums is still important.

Despite what I said yesterday on another thread in a fit of rage, I can understand why people are p'd off that a couple of Krewses have been called off last minute, but why cut off your nose to spite your face? If Moose is running a Krews then why not take advantage of it?

Moose has always been clear that any profit he makes will go to Thunder I can assure you that Thunder appreciate the donations Moose makes. We get very little financial support from elsewhere (for those of you that don't know, Thunder players all pay to play) and every little helps.

I totally agree- and when we get a chance this season and can make it we'l be taking advantage off the offer moose
