Better team won tonight (MKL 4 Phantoms 3) It also confirmed to all watching that Lightning probably pose a bigger challenge for the league than Flames do. Flames may have the better players but they don't come close to Lightning as a team and its teams that win championships, not players !

Massive congratulations chaps - well done !! its such a huge effort on your and your parents behalf just to get through the training .

To but into context, these two u13s had played a game in Invicta on Saturday afternoon, then stopped off in Bracknell to support the u18s befor going to find somewhere to eat and get their heads down before going back on ice for training at 11.30pm, getting home about 3am! its a huge committment and to make the team is the reward for all the effort. Well done !!

See you in Hull (I'll probably be selling teddies so something) but will promise to come and watch the u13s. its fab to see the MK fella up there!!

Well done and sorry to the guys who haven't made it - keep plugging away

Its only a few years since we had no representatives at any age group so to have at least one in each age group it great.

Well done MKS !!

What is great at the moment is for the younger players like Ryan and Jack to have two highly successful players in the U18's to look up to and to try and emulate.

Seeing Ross and Jacob do so well for the U18's, Thunder and holding down regular spots with the lightning is inspirational and shows the boys that there is a route to Pro hockey in MK if they are dedicated and work hard to keep improving their skills.

Getting into the South West Conference team is a huge achievement. The two U13 boys were selected from almost 90 players sent for trials and that is great for the boys (For us as parents) for the club coaches who have developed them and the club committee members who make sure that all the admin (and there is a lot) goes smoothly.

I hope everyone will join me in celebrating the achievements of all of the MK Juniors this year; as we have had success at every level with players selected at:

1. Every age group in SouthWest Conference.
2. Tommy M'Boya and Jordan Headly selected for U16 and U14 England teams respectively.
3. Ross Green selected for the GB U20's.
4. U18's Ross Green & Jacob Heron signing for the Lightning.

Well done to all of you, your hard work and dedication have brought its rewards!
